With more than two decades of experience creating some of Maine’s most beloved neighborhood restaurants — including The Front Room, The Grill Room & Bar, and The Corner Room Italian Kitchen — as well as two on mountain establishments at Sunday River – The Mountain Room & Last Run Room. The Smiths extend that same spirit of craftsmanship and hospitality to the town of Bethel in the mountains of western Maine.
Their vision for Mayville Union House is simple: to create a space that feels both elevated and easygoing — a gathering place where friends meet for dinner, travelers rest by the fire, and every meal feels like coming home.
